Presented is a superb quality Arthur Stone Associates sterling silver long handled serving spoon or ladle. This piece dates to around 1938-1957. The spoon is done in a simple, elegant style, with a long, gracefully curved handle and a rattail design on the back of the bowl. The spoon is well made and sturdy, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand. This piece is in great overall condition. There has perhaps been a monogram removal to the end of the handle, but if so it was done professionally and is very hard to be sure there was every anything there in the first place. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, and no repairs. The spoon is stamped with the Arthur Stone Associates mark as well as sterling and the initial L, likely for the specific craftsman of the piece. The spoon is about 12 1/8 inches long.
