Description

Presented is a fine set of 3 Shiebler sterling silver serving spoons. These spoons are done in the elegant Corinthian pattern, which officially began production in 1874, designed by John Polhamus circa 1855. These spoons have the old Shiebler maker's mark, and date to within a few years of the pattern's official production start. The pattern features classical shell and floral designs on the handles. The backs of the handles are monogrammed with the name Anna. The spoons are in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The spoon are stamped with the Shiebler maker's mark as well as sterling, a patent date of 1874, and the retail mark for J.B. Mayo. Each spoon is about 8 3/8 inches long. The total weight for the set is 181 grams or 6.4 regular ounces. -jm Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
