Presented is a fabulous quality American sterling silver berry or casserole serving spoon, by Stieff. This piece is made in the popular Stieff Rose pattern, which began production in 1892. As the name suggests, this is a lovely floral pattern featuring repousse decoration of roses on the handle. The back of the terminal has a monogram of FGT in flowing script. This piece is stamped and guaranteed sterling as well as the maker's mark Stieff This piece is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The server measures about 9 1/8 inches long.
