Description
Presented is a great set of 14 Wallace sterling silver teaspoons. These spoons are made in the beautiful Carnation pattern, which began production in 1908. As the name suggests, this is a floral pattern featuring designs of carnations on the handles, in the flowing Art Nouveau style of the time. These are old production pieces, undoubtedly made within just a few years of the pattern's patent date. Each spoon has a monogram of S in fancy Gothic script on the handle. This set is in great condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. The set looks like it has seen very little if any use. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each spoon is stamped on the stem with the Robert Wallace maker's mark as well as sterling and the patent date for the pattern, Oct 27 1908. Each spoon is about 5 7/8 inches long. The total weight for the set is 281 grams or 9.9 regular ounces. -jm Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
