Beckett Authenticated 2017 Historic Autographs Originals series autograph and 1930s Goudey baseball card of former MLB player Carl Reynolds, numbered 8 of only 16 made. Reynolds was an American outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Chicago White Sox (1927–1931), Washington Senators (1932, 1936), St. Louis Browns (1933), Boston Red Sox (1934–1935) and Chicago Cubs (1937–1939). Reynolds was a consistent hitter who batted .300 six times. He played all three outfield positions, but was suited to right field, especially since he had a good throwing arm. He was born in LaRue, Texas, and attended Southwestern University. In November 1971, Reynolds was announced as one of five to be inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
