Presented is an interesting old sterling silver jelly server made or retailed by Bigelow, Kennard & Company. Although this server was probably intended for jelly originally, it is unlikely that anyone would use this to serve jelly today. However, it could be used so serve a variety of other food items. The server is done in a classic nautilus shell pattern with scrolls on the side of the blade. The server is marked on the reverse with Sterling and Bigelow, Kennard & Co. for the maker or retailer. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs. The server is 7 5/8 inches long. The weight is 38.9 grams or 1.4 ounces.
