Antique 1830 English Sterling Silver Classical Fruit Serving Spoon Presented is a very fine quality, antique English sterling silver serving spoon made in London in 1830. This piece is done in a classical form of the time. The front and back of the handle are engraved with flower and leaf decorations and the front bears a monogram of the initials A, V and M. The bowl is hand chased with fruits and engraved with leaves. The back is marked with the leopard's head for the city of London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of William IV's head, a date letter p for the year 1830 and a maker's mark. This piece is in excellent condition considering its age and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
