Presented is a set of 8 demitasse spoons from Durgin. This set is in the Sheaf of Wheat pattern, sometimes called Tip Wheat, which was patented in 1887. These spoons were probably made around 1910. The pieces each have a beautiful fiddle-shaped handle and a crisp gathering of wheat on the tip of each handle. The spoons are each marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Durgin. This set is in excellent condition. There is minimal surface wear and crisp details. All pieces are clean and ready for use. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
