Description
Presented is a nice set of 5 sterling and coin silver spoons made by Gorham. This set is in the Pompeii pattern, which was patented in 1868. Three of the spoons are marked sterling and two are marked coin. Each handle has a decorative leaf pattern at the top and middle. All of the spoons bear a monogram of the initials DM. The spoons are marked sterling and coin. Although there are no Gorham hallmarks, the pattern is definitely Pompeii by Gorham.
