Presented is a great set of 4 Gorham sterling silver citrus spoons. These spoons are done in the lovely Cromwell pattern, which began production in 1900. This is a handsome pattern featuring a classical shell and scroll motif on the handle. The bowls of the spoons have a rich gold wash, protecting the spoon from the acid in citrus fruits. The handles have a monogram of G in Gothic script. Use these spoons for grapefruit, oranges, or whatever other fruit you like. This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each spoon is stamped with the maker's mark for Gorham, as well as sterling, the patent applied for date of 1900, and the retail mark for Shreve, Crump & Low Co.
