Presented is a lovely pair of sterling silver tablespoons or serving spoons made by Towle Silversmiths. The spoons are done in the El Grandee pattern which was first produced in 1964. These solid sterling silver spoons are well made and have good weight. We only polished one spoon for the photographs, but the other will easily polish up. Each spoon is marked on the reverse with a maker’s mark for Towle, Sterling, 1964, and El Grandee. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs. The spoons are 8 1/2 inches long. The combined weight of the pair is 192.5 grams or 6.7 ounces.
