Presented is a fine set of 12 sterling silver chocolate spoons by Durgin. The spoons are done in the New Standish pattern which was first produced in 1905. The bowls have had something of a heart-shaped to them. This is a very unusual shape and type of spoon. It might also be some type of unusual dessert spoon. The spoons are hallmarked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Durgin and Sterling. The condition is excellent. There might have been a monogram removals to the spoons. I am not sure. If a monogram was removed it was very well done. Let the photographs be your guide. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals?, no breaks, and no repairs.
